Internships
We have an established internship programme, taking place in the summer and winter each year where we appoint 2 to 3 interns. JUSTICE interns work closely with our policy staff: conducting legal research, providing commentary on draft legislation, assisting with third party interventions and supporting working parties of our membership exploring critical issues of law reform. JUSTICE interns gain the opportunity to develop skills and experience of working on important areas of legal policy at a national level as well as the chance to be part of a small, friendly and committed staff.

Our summer internship programme runs between June and October and our winter programme between January and February. The internship is full-time and applicants should be able to commit to working in our central London office 5 days per week, from 9.30 am – 5.30 pm. We are proud to pay our interns the London Living Wage.
Eligibility
Interns undertake legal research in one of JUSTICE’s main areas of policy work: civil justice, criminal justice or administrative law. For this reason we seek applications from law graduates only. This includes people who expect to have completed a law degree or the GDL by the time they start their internship. In exceptional cases, we will consider applications from non-law graduates who can demonstrate in their application that they have relevant knowledge and experience equivalent to a degree. Applicants must also be a member of JUSTICE to apply for an internship (please note that unsuccessful applicants cannot cancel their membership in line with our membership cancellation policy).
