We are delighted to invite JUSTICE members to a webinar on 8 June 2020 from 6 to 7.15 pm starring Lord Briggs of Westbourne.  In conversation with our Director Andrea Coomber, Lord Briggs will discuss the work of the Supreme Court in an age of corona.

More about our speaker:

Lord Briggs of Westbourne became a Justice of The Supreme Court in October 2017. In 2013 he was appointed a Lord Justice of Appeal, and in 2016 became the Deputy Head of Civil Justice. Lord Briggs led two influential evaluations on the operation of the courts: the Chancery Modernisation Review and the Civil Courts Structure Review. Lord Briggs was appointed to the High Court in 2006, serving from 2009-2013 as the judge in charge of the extensive Lehman insolvency litigation. At the Bar, Lord Briggs practised in commercial and chancery work. He is a Patron of Law for Life and a member of the JUSTICE60.
