Linklaters Legal Fellow
Nobuhle is a Linklaters Legal Fellow at JUSTICE, working on various Administrative Justice projects.
Nobuhle will be called to the Bar of England and Wales in October 2023 and holds a Law with Chinese Law degree from the University of Nottingham (LLB) having completed an exchange year at the University of Hong Kong. During her studies of Law and Social Justice at the intersections, Nobuhle completed a comparative research essay on ‘accessing the legal profession as an ethnic minority woman’ in the Hong Kong and England and Wales Bars. Nobuhle has fostered a commitment to creating greater access to the Bar for underrepresented groups. As Vice President of the University of Nottingham Bar Society, she founded a Social Mobility Mentorship Scheme during the pandemic and created a ‘Diversity Series’ to host targeted career events for minority groups.
Nobuhle has volunteered for Support Through Court and the University of Law (Birmingham) Legal Clinic where she continues to accept referrals from Birmingham Women’s Aid and acts as a Social Security Tribunal Representative.
Prior to working at JUSTICE, Nobuhle was one of 100 candidates selected for the first-ever Bridging the Bar Academy where she was one of 9 interns participating in the Court of Appeal’s first-ever judicial internship programme.
Nobuhle is also an Inner Temple Exhibition Scholarship recipient (2022) and alumna of the Sutton Trust Pathways to Law programme
