Legal Fellow
Weronika is an NYU Legal Fellow at JUSTICE, working on a range of projects related to the rule of law in the U.K. as well as administrative and human rights law issues. She is also an Associate Editor at Just Security, an online forum for the rigorous analysis of security, democracy, foreign policy, and rights based at the Reiss Center on Law and Security at New York University School of Law.
Before joining JUSTICE, Weronika completed a BA in Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Civil Law Degree at the University of Oxford, winning multiple scholarships and academic prizes. During her undergraduate degree, she also spent a year studying at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands. Weronika has previously interned at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Warsaw and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, where she worked on a range of issues related to the European Convention on Human Rights jurisprudence and its application in the context of prisons.
Weronika has published on human rights and civil procedure topics in peer-reviewed student law journals and actively volunteers in Project Access, a social mobility mentorship programme aimed at aspiring law students. Her interests include national security law, administrative and human rights law, and civil procedure reform.
