Securing JUSTICE at 60 Appeal

Help us secure JUSTICE at 60 by supporting our Appeal

We need to raise £2million by 2017 to provide vital funds to achieve the full impact of our vision for the justice system and fortify our position as we enter our 60th year. It is an ambitious target for a small charity, but given what is at stake, we must meet the challenge.

Our only resources come from donations, grants and membership subscriptions from people who understand the importance of our mission to strengthen the justice system and the rights of individuals within it.

“For nearly 60 years JUSTICE has been at the forefront of reimagining the justice system. We have much to thank it for and it deserves our support.”
Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales

Law & Literature Series

The members of the “Securing JUSTICE at 60” Appeal present a three year programme of exciting events in the lead up to the 60th anniversary of JUSTICE. The Appeal programme is designed to engage writers, film-makers, actors, musicians, philosophers and social commentators in a dialogue with the judiciary and the legal profession about access to justice and the rule of law in the UK today. The Appeal launched on 28 October with the LAW & LITERATURE series in which distinguished writers read from their works about miscarriages of justice, followed by discussion, book signing, drinks and canapes.
