Euan O'Byrne Mulligan

Euan joined JUSTICE as Communications Officer in December 2025.

Before joining JUSTICE, he worked as a news reporter and editor for seven years. Euan started out as a local journalist in south east London, during which time he interviewed then Prime Minister Boris Johnson when he visited the area for by-election. He also exposed the forceful arrest of a woman in Lewisham, which triggered an IOPC investigation into the officers involved. He then worked for The Guardian and The i Paper, covering a range of domestic and international stories. His work often focused on the justice system, such as a 2023 feature on the Northern Ireland Legacy Act's impact on victims of the Troubles. In 2025, he began freelancing at the BBC News, reporting on home affairs, including the High Court battle between the Home Office and Epping Council over the Bell Hotel. Before training as a journalist, Euan worked for the Koestler Trust, the UK's leading prison arts charity, on mentoring and outreach.
