Tyrone Steele

Tyrone is Director of Strategy and Impact at JUSTICE. He oversees the charity’s strategy, helping to strengthen its impact and influence and improve people’s experience of the justice system across the country. He also leads JUSTICE North, based in Liverpool, which brings together expertise from across the North of England to develop practical solutions to problems within the justice system.

Since joining JUSTICE as a Criminal Justice Lawyer, Tyrone has held a number of senior legal and leadership roles, including Deputy Legal Director and Interim Legal Director. Before joining JUSTICE, he trained and qualified as a lawyer at Clifford Chance, working in London, Hong Kong and Paris. His practice included international criminal investigations, arbitration and pro bono human rights work.

Tyrone studied Theology at the University of Oxford and serves as a school governor.
