CELEBRATE HUMAN RIGHTS DAY WITH THE FACULTY OF ADVOCATES & JUSTICE SCOTLAND

The 2016 JUSTICE Human Rights Day Lecture will be given by the Lord Advocate, James Wolffe QC. His first speech as Lord Advocate will place the prosecution of crime in the context of a commitment to fundamental rights.

The Honourable Lady Scott will be chairing the event. There will be an opportunity for questions and closing remarks from Derek Ogg QC, chair of JUSTICE Scotland. A drinks reception will follow the lecture.

We are grateful to the Lord Advocate for sharing his thoughts with JUSTICE Scotland, and to the Faculty of Advocates for hosting this event.
