Global justice and the International Commission of Jurists: lawyers working together for the rule of law

As part of our commitment to our members, JUSTICE hosts free, member-only events throughout the year.

This exclusive ‘In Conversation’ event will see the President of the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ), Professor Sir Nigel Rodley and Wilder Tayler, the Secretary General of the ICJ, discuss the current global challenges to the rule of law, democracy and the work of the ICJ. Professor Sir Nigel Rodley will also discuss the history of the organisation as experienced by him, and the influence the ICJ has had on the international legal landscape since its inception.

Created shortly after the end of the Second World War, the ICJ brings together legal experts from across five continents to work towards the protection of the rule of law and the implementation of international human rights standards.  JUSTICE is the UK branch of the International Commission of Jurists.

Tickets are limited for this event so book your place early to avoid disappointment. CPD points will be available.
