JUSTICE is a UK-wide organisation, and we strive to ensure that that our work is representative of the legal system across the country. To give us the opportunity to deepen our relationships with legal practitioners, other experts, and interested parties in Leeds and the surrounding area, we are hosting a free public lecture and drinks reception in association with the University of Law and DLA Piper.
The past year has seen huge challenges to the rule of law in the United Kingdom, most overtly in the suggested removal of the Human Rights Act and the proposed Bill of Rights Bill.
Join JUSTICE on 16 November for a free lecture by the Rt. Hon. Lord Dyson, examining whether the ongoing push for human rights reform is a dangerous or welcome change.
Registration: from 5:30pm
Lecture: 6pm
Followed by a drinks reception.
JUSTICE are grateful to the University of Law and DLA Piper for their support of this event.
