This conference for law students, trainee solicitors and pupil barristers discussed human rights, civil liberties and democracy and addressed topical issues such as anonymous witnesses, counter-terrorism, the European arrest warrant, secret evidence and a British bill of rights. Speakers included Baroness Helena Kennedy QC and Tom Hickman as well as JUSTICE policy staff. The event concluded with a student led debate on bills of rights, with JSHRN members on the panel.
