‘Human rights, British values and Justice’
As the Coalition Government commits to weave British values into our national curriculum, it is widely expected that the Conservative manifesto will make a commitment to rewrite how we protect individual rights in the UK. The Human Rights Act 1998 and our commitment to the European Convention on Human Rights may figure large in the forthcoming manifesto.
Against this background, JUSTICE and the Society of Conservative Lawyers invite you to discuss the Conservative legacy on individual rights, values and our justice system.
