‘Doing justice?’

In a year when the Lord Chancellor regrets that the emergence of a two-tier justice system might undermine the rule of law, our panel reflects on the challenges to the UK justice system in 2015.

From legal aid cuts to court fees, from court closures to secret evidence, the reforms of the last Parliament have affected the shape of justice in the UK today.    In a Parliament which faces some serious constitutional questions – from Brexit to the repeal of the Human Rights Act – we ask, where next for the rule of law?
