JUSTICE’s Director of Human Rights Policy, Angela Patrick, will deliver the keynote speech at the University of Huddersfield’s Third Annual Social Justice Lecture.
The latest proposals to repeal the Human Rights Act adopt the language of rights, liberties and values. However, when we talk about how human rights are protected by law; both the label and the fine print are important.
Angela will reflect on the history of human rights protection in the UK and on the watch-words for the upcoming Government debate.
