JUSTICE, in partnership with 25 Bedford Row People’s Tribunal Unit, is hosting an exclusive screening of Those who said No, a film about the journey from one of Iran’s darkest periods with the voices of those who suffered.

This powerful and inspiring feature documentary by acclaimed Swedish film maker Nima Sarvestani follows survivors and bereaved families in their fight for accountability and justice following the arrest, imprisonment, torture and execution of thousands of citizens for their religious and political beliefs between 1981-1988. Their story culminates in a 5 day hearing at The Peace Palace in The Hague in 2012. Here, the Iran Tribunal, a People’s driven project placed harrowing evidence before a bench of Internationally recognised Jurists.

The screening will be followed by drinks and a panel discussion, with speakers to include John Cooper QC and Mike Mansfield QC.
