This was the first major human rights conference for the student network and gave students an insight into the current state of human rights law in the UK, the potential for a career in human rights law and likely future developments in policy and practice. Speakers on the day included Geoff Nicholas, Suzanne Lambert, Keir Starmer QC, Phil Shiner, Alexandra Marks, Jemima Stratford, Lawrence Horner, Stephen Grosz and Professor Francesca Klug OBE.
