Relying on the Effective Criminal Defence in Europe publication, JUSTICE, together with AI EU Office, ECBA, ICCL, OSI and OSJI, has sent an open letter to European Commissioner for Justice, Viviane Reding, urging the Commission to present Measure B on Information on Rights and Information about the Charges as soon as possible in order for work to commence towards the adoption of the Roadmap on procedural safeguards.
