Annie Fendrich

Criminal Justice Lawyer

Annie is a Criminal Justice Lawyer at JUSTICE and is a qualified barrister specialising in criminal law and criminal justice related public law.  She brings her experience at the Bar to JUSTICE,  which includes representing clients in the magistrates’ court, youth court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal as well as before the Parole Board.

 

After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College London she completed an LLB at the London School of Economics.  Annie has previously interned in the Office of the President at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, assisting Judge Carmel Agius in his capacity as both President of the Tribunal and Judge of the Appeals Chamber.  She also spent four months at the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law, where she worked on a range of public law issues.  Annie has a particular interest in prison law and has volunteered at the Prisoners’ Advice Service.  Whilst studying for the Bar, she taught debating at HMP Wandsworth and HMP Downview as a Vocalise mentor before acting as Vocalise director for two years.

 

Annie has also worked at the Court of Appeal, where she was Judicial Assistant to Lord Justice Floyd.
